Appointments
With the hectic lives that we all tend to lead these days, we often feel guilty about taking time out for ourselves. If you are having difficult times in your life right now, count an hour or so spent on putting it right as an investment in your future happiness. Make time for yourself and I will make time for you, with flexible day, evening and weekend consultation by prior appointment. Each session lasts for 50 minutes unless otherwise agreed beforehand.
Please note that the therapy session starts at the agreed time and ends 50 minutes later - clients arriving late will have a session consisting of the remaining minutes only. Due to other commitments sessions I cannot run over the agreed finish time. In the event of a full session not being possible, the full fee will still be payable.
I can offer appointments at my home office in Upper Heyford, and at Banbury Counselling Centre on Tuesday afternoons. If you feel you would benefit from counselling or hypnotherapy but are unable to get to an office I am happy to see you at your home subject to the nature or your illness and our being able to work in a quiet, private room. I reserve the right to obtain your GP's approval before commencing therapy. In addition to the costs outlined mileage will be charged at 40p per mile.
Cancellations made within24 hours of the session time will be chargeable at the full fee.
Cost
I offer a free half hour telephone consultation, after this the initial session will cost £65 – at this session I will take as much information as I need to conduct safe and effective sessions in the future, such as life and medical history. These sessions take up to one and a half hours. In additional I will usually prepare and record an individual hypnotherapy cd for use between sessions (subject to there being no contra-indications regarding client safety).
Subsequent sessions will be at a rate of £35 per 50 minute session. NB I have one reduced rate session per week for those on low income. This is subject to availability and you are likely to have to put your name on a waiting list. Proof of receipt of benefits will be required. Confidentiality
Disclosures made by a client during sessions will remain confidential except for certain circumstances which will be explained at the initial consultation.
